College Tech Prep

If you are a high school student, you can earn college credit when you enroll in and successfully complete a Tech Prep articulated course. You will save money and time by participating in this program. You do not have to pay fees for the college credits that you earn through Tech Prep classes.

Tech Prep approved courses are high school classes taught to high school students at the high schools by high school teachers. The courses are offered at all WCSD comprehensive high schools, the Academy of Arts, Career and Technology, ACE Charter High School, I Can Do Anything Charter High School, Carson City High School, Elko County School District, Battle Mountain High School, Lowry High School, Dayton High School, Douglas High School, Yerington High School and Sierra Nevada Job Corps.

To earn college credit, you must complete a TMCC Tech Prep application for admission by the published deadline and earn an "A" or "B" in your articulated class.
