General

iconAre there two student portals?

TMCC is in a process of upgrading the Web-Reg/MyTMCC portals, merging them into one system that offers students more online services. The new portal, which will include Web-Reg services, will be accessed through the MyTMCC student portal at my.tmcc.edu.

Beginning Oct. 12, 2009, current links to Web-Reg will be updated to my.tmcc.edu and will point to a new page from which you will select entry based on the semester for which you are enrolling. In fall 2010, when Web-Reg goes away, you will use MyTMCC for all of your online registration activity, including the ability to review important notifications, review "to do" items on your student checklist and update your status.

iconHow do I get a student ID card?

You can obtain your student identification card at the Starting Point, V. James Eardley Student Services Center lobby. You will need a government issued form of identification, such as a driver's license or passport. You will also need to be enrolled in at least one credit hour for the current semester. ID cards will be issued on the Saturday of the week before classes begin and may be issued to the last day of the semester. Each semester you will be issued a new sticker for the back of your ID card.

Your first student ID card is free of charge, but a $5 charge must be paid to replace a damaged or lost ID card. Pay at the Controller's office and bring your receipt to the Starting Point to receive your replacement ID card.

Your student ID card can be used in a majority of the vending machines on the Dandini Campus, Meadowood Center and IGT Applied Technology Center. Please note: machines must have the card reader to accept the TMCC student ID card. By using your student ID card, you will receive a five percent discount on your vending machine purchases. You can also use your Student ID card in the cafeteria on the Dandini Campus; however, you will not receive a discount. There are Card Value Centers located in the Sierra and Vista buildings at which you can transfer money from a credit or debit card onto your ID card. There is no PIN number for your ID card, so exercise caution in the amount that you transfer. If you lose your card, whoever finds it will have access to your money.

iconMy online class is having technical difficulty. Whom should I contact?

Contact TMCC's WebCollege for help.

iconMy Web-Reg pin is invalid, what should I do?

All problems with Web-Reg should be reported to admissions and records or via Live Support. Admissions staff are able to assist with all forms of registration difficulty and will instruct students specifically according to their particular dilemma. In some instances students will need to provide identification before staff can proceed with assistance. In those cases students will be required to come to campus for further help.

iconWhat is MyTMCC?

The "MyTMCC" student portal is a "one-stop" gateway for accessing many college applications and tools.
