Student Government Association (SGA) of Truckee Meadows Community College

New: SGA Treasurer applications are due Tuesday, May 14, 2013 by 5 p.m. Interviews and Induction will be conducted at the SGA Senate Meeting on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. Applicants must be available to interview during this SGA Senate Meeting. The SGA Treasurer must be able to attend the remaining SGA Senate Meetings on Wednesday, May 15 and 22, 2013 and continue on for the 2013-2014 academic year.

The Student Government Association (SGA) of Truckee Meadows Community College is the name of the student government body at TMCC. The SGA encompasses all students currently enrolled at Truckee Meadows Community College. Anyone taking at least one class at TMCC is an SGA member. The SGA provides a variety of programs and activities for students. In addition, the SGA makes recommendations and contributes opinions and information to the college, the system, and Board of Regents regarding student concerns.

The SGA provides support to the student clubs and organizations on campus. The SGA officers are elected every spring semester or appointed by the current SGA student government to fill vacancies.
