25Live is the web-based room request and event scheduling application. With appropriate security you can find out what's happening today, check locations and events, check locations for availability, submit event requests, create an event occurring on a single date or multiple dates, search for detailed information on a selected event, location or resource, and run reports.
Session 1 and Session 2 are the same workshop, you may chose to attend either one. Pre-registration required so your account can be built in advance. This is a hands-on session.

Register Now! Applying the QM Rubric - Online Training

The Applying the QM Rubric (APPQMR) workshop is Quality Matters flagship workshop on the QM Rubric and the process of using the QM Rubric to review online courses. It is intended for a broad audience, including but not limited to faculty, instructional designers, administrators, and adjunct instructors who wish to understand more about the QM Rubric and process of course review. The APPQMR is the prerequisite for the Peer Reviewer Course, which is the required course to become a QM Peer Reviewer.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Registration deadline is Monday, November 10 class begins November 13 and is two weeks long. Participants can expect to spend about 10 hours per week in this class to successfully complete(total approximately 20 hours for two weeks).

Register Now! Increase Your Completion Rate Using Stackable Certificates webinar

Failure to complete academic credentials is a nationwide problem. Presenters from two National Science Foundation-funded ATE Centers show how they developed a stackable certificate plan that allows students to gain entry-level skills with as few as 6 to 16 units of IT courses and finish credentials in stages. This model is applicable other workforce programs, as well. During the webinar, participants learn about a stackable certificate model they can adapt to fit different fields of specialty and career pathways, leave the session with strategies to implement this program on their home campuses, and learn how to develop metrics to measure the success of this initiative.

This webinar presentation will focus on best practices and strategies for managing and working with student employees. Participants will learn specific training ideas and strategies to orient workers, address expectations and work behavior, holding student workers accountable for work performance and behavior, dealing with difficult situations and the impact of the millennial generation on the work environment.

This workshop provides members of the campus community the opportunity to increase their cultural awareness and openness to issues facing those of the GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender) community. It includes interactive exercises that explore individual views; has some lecture presentation to dispel myths surrounding GLBT individuals; and gives time for reflection and best practices in working to create a safe space in the classroom, in offices, and in the social areas on campus.
