Register Now! Are They Getting It? How Do You Know Your Online Students are Learning What You Are Teaching?

Want to improve your online instruction? This is the 3rd workshop in the Delivering Effective Online Instruction series, designed to help faculty enhance the delivery of their online courses using a proactive course management approach. This session will focus on how to use formative assessment to monitor what students are learning throughout your course. Using formative assessment at strategic points in a course can help assure your students understand course content so you can provide additional support or instruction when needed. Participants will learn a variety of formative assessment techniques for online instruction and will practice select techniques in an active web course. Participants will need an active course or a clone of a future course in which to implement new techniques.
This workshop is limited to 12 participants.

Participants will learn about a variety of strategies to engage students in active learning experiences and will practice select strategies in an active web course.
