Northern Nevada Law Enforcement Academy Recruitment Letter

Dear Interested Academy Recruit:

Thank you for your interest in the Northern Nevada Law Enforcement Academy. Enclosed please find basic information regarding the Academy. The academy is offered Three times per calendar year. Each session lasts approximately 20 weeks and a minimum of 40 hours of class time is required each week. Most training is held at the Regional Public Safety Training Center, 5190 Spectrum Blvd., Reno, NV.

The physical fitness test is the first of a series of tests that you will need to successfully complete prior to acceptance into the academy. If you are interested in being notified of test dates as they are scheduled, please complete this application form and return it to the address listed. You will need to successfully complete additional tests and requirements prior to being admitted to the academy.
