The following pistols are the only weapons authorized for academy range training:

  • Beretta
  • Sig Sauer
  • Smith and Wesson
  • Springfield Armory XD
  • HK (USP/LEM Models only)

The pistol must be in one of the following calibers:

  • 9mm
  • .40
  • .45
  • 357 Sig

Please note:

  • All weapons should be accompanied with at least three magazines for training.
  • Do not purchase a weapon prior to meeting with Deputy Bowlin.  There will be several weapons available for demonstration prior to purchase.
