Changes Ahead for GED Testing

Students planning to take a GED test this year, please note: 2013 is the final year for paper-based GED testing. Computer-based GED testing will begin in 2014. All current GED candidates who have not yet completed the full battery of 5 subject tests will need to do so before the end of 2013. The current GED test series cannot be combined with the new series launching Jan 1, 2014.
