Lighter Than Air Competition - April 9

Truckee Meadows Community College will host a lighter than air (LTA) competition on April 9, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the college’s Dandini Campus in the student center.

This program, made possible by a Nevada NASA Space Grant Consortium, was written by TMCC Professor Dan Loranz and is designed to provide added benefits to students in the form of hands-on learning. 
Each team will design, build and fly radio-controlled lighter than air vehicles and compete in timed trials. Each member of the winning team will be awarded a TMCC scholarship.
