Maxine S. Jacobs Foundation Presidential Scholarship information

TMCC has announced a new scholarship program for qualified unemployed Nevadans. The Maxine S. Jacobs Foundation Presidential Scholarship will pay for the cost of training to increase job readiness skills in a variety of college programs.

This scholarship program benefits from a private-public partnership: the Maxine S. Jacobs Foundation is providing the scholarship funds, the Nevada Department of Employment, Rehabilitation and Training (DETR) is helping to provide recipient recruitment, and TMCC providing participant screening, instruction and retention services. Unemployed Nevadans are encouraged to apply for the scholarship program.  Call 775-673-8215 for more information.
