Reno Open Studios hosts art inside TMCC Main Art Gallery

The TMCC Main Art Gallery will feature a variety of different art media hosted by Reno Open Studios. Reno Open Studios is composed of forty-two visual artists living and creating art within the Reno/Sparks area. One weekend a year these dedicated artists open their art studios to the public free of charge.

Thereby, providing an opportunity for the community to witness and participate in the creative process within a working art studio. These ROS artists are as diverse in personalities as their art form. The exhibit includes a myriad of art including oils, acrylics, watercolor, decorative gourds, jewelry, textiles, bronze, photography, woodturning, metal sculpture, glass and glass blowing, clay, printmaking and ceramics.

“Preview: Reno Open Studios” will be on display at TMCC galleries from June 1 – June 25, 2012. Closing Reception and Artists’ Talk will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 5-8 p.m.
