In celebration of Women's History Month, the TMCC Library Committee will hold a Chautauqua event of Eleanor Roosevelt and a “What If” discussion on Friday March 29, 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Dandini Campus in the Student Center.
The topics to be considered include women in the military and at the battle front; what if the United States had a woman president; what if women received the right to vote from the founding of the country; what if women did not have to disguise themselves in history as men in order to create art, literature, or architecture; and what would the world look like today in relation to these topics?
This event is free and open to the public. For information, please contact Thomas Kearns at 775-673-7209.
