Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) welcomes its annual student art exhibition, which will be on display April 8 through April 30. An artist reception and awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday, April 10 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the TMCC Main Art Gallery in the student center. Additionally, a special presentation will be given by the juror, Mark Hammon titled “Influence of Technology” at 5:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served and the reception is free and open to the public.
The juror this year is Mark Hammon. Mark Hammon is a Reno, Nevada-based photographer specializing in fine art, commercial and stock imagery. Mark has always harbored a love of the great outdoors. His lens has drawn him to explore the raw landscapes of the western United States. His commercial work focuses on product, special event, advertising and professional portrait images. Mark’s editorial credits include numerous regional and national publication. Mark is well versed in digital formats for all applications, including post-production digital workflow for print and web.
