Students who have dreams to open a small business are invited to present their plans to a panel of judges at TMCC’s Entrepreneurship Program Shark Tank Competition. The qualifying round will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 25 from 5:15-8 p.m. in RDMT 256.  Three local judges will officiate the final round on Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 5:15-8 p.m. in RDMT 256.  Cash prizes will be offered in the amounts of $300, $150 and $75 for first, second and third places.

“We want to give students with an entrepreneurial mindset the chance to pitch new ideas in a non-threatening setting.  We are offering cash awards to first, second and third places, and we invite all full- or part-time TMCC students to participate,” says Nancy O’Neal, professor and advisor to the E-Club.  Competition judges will include David Lewandowski, lawyer at Drinkwater Law offices; Tim Nelson, president of Evans, Nelson & Company; and Katie Knapp, owner of Bumblebee blooms flower boutique.  Read the rules and register now online
