Washoe County high school seniors and their families are invited to attend TMCC’s Senior and Family Night on Wednesday, Oct. 2 starting at 6 p.m. at the Dandini Campus, Sierra Building, room 108.

During Senior and Family night, discussion will include information about financial aid options, tuition and fees, degrees offered,  transfer options, and  the steps to enroll requirements.   Staff will also help prospective students complete the TMCC admission application and start the steps to enroll process, preparing you for getting started at TMCC after high school graduation.  Students should bring their WCSD student number to assist with the enrollment process.

“We are targeting first-generation students and their families, in collaboration with the Washoe County School District and the University of Nevada.  We hope that any families that are thinking of higher education will use this opportunity to learn more about TMCC,” says Yuliana Chavez, GEAR UP College Ambassador.

“We know how important it is for these first-generation families to learn about how to access and finance higher education. We believe college is possible for all of our students, and specifically we want to ensure that families who lack the information to navigate the ‘college maze’ get the information they need.  This is definitely a family event, ” Chavez continued.
