GEAR UP Program welcomed Vaughn Middle School students to TMCC

On Friday, Feb. 22, TMCC welcomed 150 students from Vaughn Middle School for a guided tour and variety of student success seminars as part of the Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP). GEAR UP was created by a grant from the Nevada Department of Education and Nevada System of Higher Education and was specially designed to increase awareness about higher education and provide resources to low-income students.
