Tommie graduated from Texas A&M with honors and a B.A. in speech communication with an emphasis in business computers. She was recruited by Deloitte & Touche, LLP, to work in their information technology consulting division and remained there for two years. Tommie joined TMCC in 1998 as an information technician. She has been with TMCC through many software additions and replacements, and has continued with them because the atmosphere of quality and continuing improvement can't be beat! She enjoys photography, graphic communication classes and time spent learning with her children, all five of them!
Information Technology Services Staff Photo Steve Zideck
Director, ITS
Steve graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a B.S. in business administration majoring in accounting and information systems. He started at TMCC as a teaching assistant in the mathematics department. In 1983, Steve took a full-time faculty position teaching developmental mathematics. He moved into administration and held the following positions: interim director, arts and sciences; associate dean, extended day services; and associate dean, operations management. Presently Steve is the campus technology officer and director of information technology services, and his current position gives him the honor of working with some of TMCC's best employees. Aside from work, he enjoys filmmaking, construction, travel and outdoor activities.
