InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF)

InterVarsity is a multi-ethnic community that seeks to be agents of God's love, grace and truth at the college, so that the world may know and be changed.

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at TMCC is an inter-denominational Christian group whose focus is to transform lives, renew the campus, and change the world one student at a time. By being involved in InterVarsity you will have the opportunity to grow in your love for God, his Word, and His people. We have weekly bible studies and gatherings every other week. We look forward to meeting you!

Upcoming Events

Intervarsity “Red Cup” campaign - TMCC Dandini campus:
The Red Cup campaign will occur Nov 15, 16, and 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the V. James Eardley, Student Center on the main floor. This will be an interactive experiences where students can interact with the question "What are You Thirsty for?" by placing a sticker on one of four red cups labeled 'Fun', 'Success', 'Purpose' and 'Love'.  Students will be asked to identify which "thirst" they identify with the most, what they think their friends identify with the most, as well as if they had heard of the ways Jesus claims to quench those thirsts.

Intervarsity Small Group Gatherings - TMCC Dandini campus:
We will begin studying the book of Luke this week in our once a week discussion group on the Dandini campus. Small group is a great place to get to know people better and to learn more about Jesus. You are welcome, regardless of your spiritual background! We will provide manuscripts every week, so bring your pens (so that you can write over the paper) and also bring your questions!

If you would like to join a small group at TMCC, come to our Small Group Gatherings every Tuesday in RDMT 409. We will meet at 11 a.m., and at 1 p.m. Come check it out and bring a friend!

Note:  From Nov 15, 2011 through Dec 13, 2011, we will regularly meet in RDMT 409 (same times) for the Fall 2011 semester.

Or if you would like to join a UNR small group, check out the website at www.ivreno.org for times and meeting places. You can also e-mail the UNR small group from this website and ask any questions you might have. You can also fill out an interest card on the www.ivreno.org site and someone will be in contact with you.

Intervarsity Large Group for both TMCC and UNR combined - UNR campus: This will occur every Thursday, at 7 p.m this semester (except Thanksgiving) at 7 p.m. in SLH 101 (the round building in the business quad).

Come check it out! You will get to meet new people and learn more about God through scripture, music and personal testimony. Come check it out and bring a friend!
