Description: A sub award from the University of Nevada, Reno provides for the continued development of the Nevada IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE) at TMCC. The goal of the INBRE grant is to increase the number of low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented minority undergraduates interested in and successfully working toward biomedical careers. Activities at TMCC include engagement with Summer Bridge students in math application skills and hands-on molecular laboratory experience.
