Description: Funding will be used to advance the already developed Geothermal Plant Operator Program to the next level, namely to recruit and retain typically underrepresented populations such as those with low socio-economic status. By the end of the grant term, up to 20 WIA eligible individuals will be trained and certified to work in Nevada's growing geothermal power industry. Students will receive scholarships, supplies, and be placed in internships as part of this WIA funded program.
