To support the honorarium of one of the visiting artists participating in the 2012 Mixed Blessings event.
The “Mixed Blessings” Symposium, to be held November 8 -10, 2012 at Truckee Meadows Community College and Nevada Museum of Art, will feature presentations and creative projects of American Indian art, literature and film. Scholars, artists, and members of Indian Nations from across the Great Basin and United States will come together to discuss topics related to contemporary social realities and self-identities of indigenous people.
