Additional Information

Morning Prep Classes

Morning GED prep classes meet at the TMCC Meadowood Center.

Sessions are 12 weeks in length and meet from 9 to 11 a.m. on Mondays. All five subjects in the GED exam are covered each day with an extra emphasis on the math and essay portions of the test (these areas seem to be the most troublesome).

A practice GED test, given to each student upon enrollment, pinpoints the areas for concentrated study, and another practice GED test given to each student at the end of the session will help the student determine if he/she should register for the GED test or enroll in another session of study.

The teacher-directed classes are fast-paced, lively, participatory and student-centered. Special tutoring can be provided in reading, writing and math.
