Procedure for Self-Identified Funding

When a funding opportunity is presented to the TMCC President or Foundation, the Executive Director of the Foundation will follow the following procedures to coordinate efforts to obtain such funding:

  • If the President has not been notified, the Executive Director will present funding opportunity to him or her to ensure it is a priority for the college.
  • Upon approval from the President, the funding opportunity will be presented as an informational piece to the President's Cabinet.
  • The Executive Director will work with the dean or director of the department and will obtain his or her recommendation on how to proceed with the opportunity.
  • The Executive Director will follow up with the funding source and submit a proposal based on the identified guidelines.
