What is the Founders Club?

The Founders Club is a group of 100 donors, each donating $1,000 to fund scholarships for deserving students at TMCC. The goal of the Founders Club is to reach $100,000 in new scholarship donations to provide the necessary resources for our students so they can follow their dream of obtaining a higher education.

What type of scholarships are available?

You can offer a scholarship as a one-time gift or as an endowed award.

One-time Scholarships

One-time scholarship gifts are awarded in full during a single scholarship cycle.

Endowed Scholarships

An endowed scholarship, requiring an investment of $5,000, is established in perpetuity with the interest awarded each year to a student in the form of a scholarship.

With either type of scholarship, you may select both the name of the scholarship and the criteria, such as major field of study, grade point average, financial need, organization membership, etc. Your recipients are encouraged to communicate with you to offer progress reports on their studies. Scholarships are a direct, personal way of changing the life of an eager, highly-motivated student.

Matching Gifts

Some companies in the Untied States offer a matching gift program. At no additional expense to you, your company can double your gift to the foundation. If your employer participates in the matching gift program, the forms can be obtained through your employer and sent to the TMCC Foundation with your Founders Club donor form to:
