Foundation Staff

As a matter of fundamental principle, the Truckee Meadows Community College Foundation as part of the nonprofit and philanthropic community adheres to the highest ethical standards because it is the right thing to do. As a matter of pragmatic self-interest, the TMCC Foundation does so because public trust in our performance is the bedrock of our legitimacy. Donors and volunteers support the TMCC Foundation because they trust staff to carry out our mission, to be good stewards of their resources, and to uphold rigorous standards of conduct. The TMCC Foundation must earn this trust every day.

The TMCC Foundation is, at its core, made up of people, and it is up to the foundation staff, foundation board of trustees, foundation and college leaders, and volunteers to demonstrate their ongoing commitment to the core values of integrity, honesty, fairness, openness, respect, kindness and responsibility. Adherence to the law is the minimum standard of expected behavior. The TMCC Foundation has chosen to voluntarily comply rather than simply obeying the law. We must embrace the spirit of the law, often going beyond legal requirements. Transparency, openness and responsiveness to public concerns are integral to the daily operations of the TMCC Foundation.
