The culinary arts curriculumhas beendesigned to
meet theneeds of themulti-faceted industrywe serve.
Individual courses provide the skill setsnecessary
towork in andoperate culinary facilities. They take
into account thebusiness, people, skills andgeneral
education required to achieve success in awide rangeof
different foodoperations.
DEGREEOUTCOMES
Students completing thedegreewill:
• Demonstratebasic andadvanced culinary skills througha series
of learned competencies includingbut not limited toknife care,
cutting techniques, stockpreparation, completemeal planning, and
restaurant experience.
• Demonstrate theknowledge towork in commercial hot food
kitchens, commercial cold foodkitchens, and commercial bakery
kitchens.
