BUSINESS -CERTIFICATEOFACHIEVEMENT
The certificateof achievement inbookkeeping shows
that youhave acquired theknowledge and skills
necessary tobe successfulworking in abookkeeping
position in thebusinessworld andmakes youmore
marketable and appealing to employers.
CERTIFICATEOUTCOMES
Students completing the certificatewill:
• Possess knowledgeof andbe ready toperformbasic functions of
bookkeeping/accountingprocedures andduties as required in
entry level bookkeeping/accountingpositions, suchas assistant
bookkeeper/accountant, accounting trainee, orbusiness owner.
• Demonstrateproficiency inusingaccounting computer software
(e.g. Peachtree andQuickBooks) todobasicbookkeeping/
accountingandpreparebasic accounting reports.
