The associateof applied sciencemanufacturing
technologies degreewith awelding emphasis gives the
student the trainingnecessary to earn theAmerican
WeldingSociety structural steel certifications,which
are required for employment inmost areas of the
construction andmanufacturingfields involving
welding, alongwith the general education requirements
and employability skills that are sought after by all
employers in the construction andmanufacturing
trades.
