ARCHITECTURALDESIGNTECHNOLOGYDEGREE–ASSOCIATEOFAPPLIEDSCIENCE
This courseof studywill provide the studentwith the
knowledge and skills required todesign andproduce
quality residential projects.Graduates areprepared for
employmentwith architectural firms that specialize in
residential architecture. The successful student upon
completionof this degreewill satisfy the educational
requirements for candidates pursuing a residential
designer professional registration as set forthby the
NevadaStateBoardofArchitecture, InteriorDesign and
ResidentialDesign.

Students completing thedegreewill:

• Demonstrate competency in their specified emphasis.
EMPHASISOUTCOMES
Students completing the emphasiswill:
• Developabasic architectural knowledge andunderstanding of
residential design theoryand standards as related to spatial
relationships, formand context of a specificproject’sdesign
requirements.
• Developandproduceworkingdrawings for residential design
projects that demonstrateknowledgeof sounddesign techniques
and constructionapplications throughvarioushanddrawn
methods and computerizedmedia.
