ASSOCIATEOFARTS
The associateof arts degree inpsychology is designed
for students seeking careers inpsychologyor related
fields.Thedegree requirements include awell-balanced
general education curriculum. Specific curriculum
provides studentswithmajor concepts, theoretical
perspectives and empirical findings inpsychology. In
addition, studentswill come tounderstand and apply
basic researchmethods inpsychology.This courseof
study is designed as auniversity transfer program that
substantiallymeets the requirements for thefirst two
years of study for theB.A. inpsychology atUNR. In
addition, students have thepossibility tobeginworkon
aminor in addiction treatment services that is available
atUNR. Studentswishing to transfer to anyother
baccalaureateprogram shouldwork closelywithTMCC
advisors and advisors at the institutionof transfer to
obtain recommended courses for transfer.
