ASSOCIATEOFSCIENCE
This isa two-year transferableprogram leading toanassociateof
sciencewithanemphasis inengineering. Theassociateof science
degree inengineering isdesigned forstudentsplanning toobtain
a four-yearengineeringdegree.Engineering is thepractical
applicationof scientific theoryandprinciples.Thisprogram
developsastrong foundation inmathematicsandphysical science
whileprovidingan introduction to the fundamental aspectsof
engineering. Studentswhocomplete theassociatedegreecan
transfer toothercollegesoruniversities inmanyengineering
disciplines includingcivil, chemical, computer, electrical,
geological,mechanical,metallurgical,mining, computerscience
andengineeringphysics.
