Oriental Massage
Relieve stress and related problems with hands-on reflexology, shiatsu and soft tissue manipulation.

MASG 107C--7.5 hours

Massage Mechanics and Positioning
Licensed massage therapists or massage program students only.
Learn proper body mechanics and feel while using forearms, loose fists, elbows, knuckles, and hands; keys to career longevity and excellent touch. Work on creative client positioning with variations on side-lying and supine as well as seated position.

Integrated Massage
For massage program students only.
Discover body rhythm and flow in massage. Learn how to use the nine basic massage strokes to create your own routine. Work on defined touch, confidence and proper massage ethics. Gain a superior edge on becoming a knowledgeable and capable massage therapist.

MASG 111C--15 hours

Integrated Deep Tissue Massage
Licensed massage therapists or massage program students only. Learn effective techniques using deep sculpting with hands, knuckles, elbows, forearms, joint movement and cross fiber frictions. Learn about common musculoskeletal problems and how you can apply modalities to give the appropriate pain relief.

Touching Bone Energy
Learn how to access the whole body and identify energy obstructions in the skeletal structure and discover how to release bone energy.

MASG 116C--15 hours

Introduction to Ortho-Bionomy
Explore its history and principals, along with positioning techniques for the neck, thoracic, lumbar, sacrum, ribs and psoas. Learn how to find and release tension without the use of force, find deeply relaxing positions and more.

Aromoatherapy for Massage
Learn how to extract essential oils and use specific application techniques.

MASG 118C--7.5 hours

PNF for Massage Therapy
Learn how to use proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation in your massage. Practice basic PNF techniques during hands-on training.

Chair Massage
Take your current skills and adapt them to chair massage. Chair massage is a great tool for marketing your business and introducing your touch to people.

Reiki

Myofascial Release
Licensed massage therapists or massage program students only.
Learn to identify and free fascial restrictions using advanced techniques. Discover the importance of fascial layering and freedom as it applies to human structure and chronic pain.

MASG 145C--15 hours

Deep Myofascial Release
Licensed massage therapists or massage program students only.
Focus on the deeper muscle structures in the body. Learn about safe, gentle and effective ways of releasing contracted or restricted deep tissue throughout the body. Find out how to work smarter, not harder.

MASG 150C--15 hours

Sports Massage Advanced
Prerequisites: LMT or MASG 130C and MASG 205C.
Expand on the techniques learned in sports massage basics by focusing on utilizing sports massage before, during and after an event. Also learn about sports injuries and how to work with the injured athlete as well as sports psychology and nutrition.

MASG 204C--15 hours

Massage Practicum
Prerequisite: current TMCC massage student.
Continue working on the skills you learned in MASG 201C while working in a supervised setting.
