Andrea is currently over the fitness center, physical education, personal training and massage programs. She holds a master's degree in physical education and is in her 11th year of teaching. She came to TMCC in 2004 to open the fitness center. Prior to coming to TMCC, Andrea taught in the physical education department at Pittsburg State University and was the aquatics and fitness director.
Faculty/Staff Photo Dr. Leah Cripps, D.C.
Leah is a doctor of chiropractic and a licensed massage therapist. She a certified personal trainer through The Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and is currently working as a personal trainer in the fitness center. She received a bachelor of science from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1991, and earned her chiropractic doctorate from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas, in 1997. She is also a yoga instructor. Leah's personal training focus is on functional training which focuses on awareness of your body. Her goal is to train her clients to become stronger in ways that help them in their daily activities. Through proper functional training clients can learn how to move and engage muscles properly to protect themselves from injury.

Geoff is currently the floor supervisor in the fitness center. Originally from Hyannis, Mass., he moved to Reno in 2006. Geoff started athletics upon entering military in 1990 and practices a "Healthy Lifestyle Philosophy" of fitness. He is involved most anything sports related such as running, kayaking, bicycling and weightlifting. You name it and he's done it, or will. A vegetarian for 18 years, Geoff is attempting full veganism. Geoff is also certified personal trainer through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFFA) and teaches weight training classes at TMCC.

Corbi is in a personal training program at TMCC. She played four years of varsity volleyball at Spanish Springs High School and is now continuing her love for the sport by coaching at Spanish Springs High School. Corbi also participates in women's doubles beach volleyball tournaments at Zephyr Cove in Lake Tahoe. She plans on getting certified in personal training within the next year while working on her associate degree in architecture. Afterward, she will put her personal training certification to use while she goes to school for interior design.

Lisa is enrolled in our personal training program. She is working toward her certification as a personal trainer and her associate degree in business. When she completes her programs at TMCC, she will attend the University of Nevada, Reno, for a bachelor's degree in business administration. Lisa plans to train while attending school over the next couple of years.
