Wildland Fire Training Program

Mission Statement

The Wildland Fire Training Program at TMCC offers National Wildfire Coordination Group (NWCG) and National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) classes that will meet or exceed the agency requirements and standards. The classes are offered to volunteer as well as career fire personnel such as local, tribal, state, federal and private students.

Training classes provided will support introductory, basic and intermediate level classes in ground and aviation operations that support the (ICS) Incident Command System in the wildland environment as well as all risk incidents.

Cadre

Our Wildland Fire Cadre is NWCG/NFPA certified and comes from a diverse workforce of highly experienced and motivated instructors. We are committed to providing current and up to date training that meets all local, state and federal requirements.

Students from our program are working in Local/State/Federal fire agencies that have a demand for safe and well trained firefighters for a workforce that continue to grow worldwide.
