This scholarship is open to students transferring from a two-year institution (community or junior college) to a four-year institution and freshman students attending a four-year institution. The award amount range is $1000-$5,000. |

Eligibility Requirements
Be of Hispanic heritage
Be a U.S. Citizen or a legal permanent resident with permanent resident card (not expired) or eligible non-citizen
Be an undergraduate freshman during the 2012-2013 academic year, enrolled full-time at an accredited U.S. institution in the U.S., Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands or Guam
OR be transferring from a two-year institution (community or junior college) to a four-year institution during the 2012-2013 academic year
Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Must provide financial aid award letters for the 2012-2013 academic year from your institution when available
