AIA Northern Nevada, a chapter of the American Institute of Architects, is pleased to
announce a call for applications for the 2012 Graham Erskine Memorial Scholarship.
The scholarship is named for noted northern Nevada architect Graham Erskine, AIA
and consists of a monetary award to a student (or students).
Funds for this endowment have come from the family and friends of Graham Erskine,
AIA and the AIA Northern Nevada members, allied professionals, individuals interested in the architecture profession and the many friends of Graham Erskine for the purpose of recognizing scholastic achievement, demonstrated talent and potential for success in
the profession. Financial need and special needs students are also taken into consideration. |
| Qualifications: |
- Must be a resident of Churchill, Douglas, Elko, Eureka, Humboldt, Lander,
Lyon, Mineral, Pershing, Storey, Washoe, or White Pine counties or Carson City, Nevada,
- Must be entering or enrolled in the second year or later of a professional degree program at an NAAB accredited school of Architecture or a second
year student at Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) transferring to a professional degree program.
- Demonstrate proficiency and/or need on the application form. |
