In addition to the general scholarship application, TMCC offers many scholarships specific to a variety of programs. The college also periodically receives information about scholarships from outside agencies.

Scholarship Name: Tuition Won't Stop Me Scholarship

Description: From September 23 at 5 p.m. (Pacific) until January 31 at 5 p.m. (Pacific), you can sound off about all of the challenges of being a college student and win $1,000 to help pay for school!
Qualifications: CONTESTS ENTRANTS AND PRIZE RECIPIENTS MUST BE (A) AGED 16 YEARS OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF ENTRY TO BE ELIGIBLE, AND (B) CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN OR CURRENTLY APPLYING FOR A DEGREE, DIPLOMA OR CERTIFICATE SEEKING PROGRAM. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. CONTESTS SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS. Officers, directors and employees of Sponsor and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates and divisions are not eligible to enter the Contests or win a Prize.
How to Apply: 1.) Create a short video (approximately 1-3 minutes) of yourself using your webcam, smartphone, or digital camera that answers our scholarship question: What are your best tips for lowering education costs? 2.) Upload your video to YouTube with the title 'How I Cut the Cost of My Degree - Education Portal Scholarship' 3.) Fill out our brief entry form. 4.) Share your video by posting it to our Facebook wall or tweet it to @EducationPortal using the hashtag #TWSM
