Online Exit Counseling

Federal Stafford Loan Exit Interview Information

As part of TMCC's financial aid requirements, you must complete a "Student Loan Exit Interview" before receiving the second disbursement of your Federal Stafford Loan. Our office, in conjunction with USA Group, now offers online loan counseling.

Before you start the online loan counseling, please be prepared.

• Provide information about the types of loans you have borrowed to date and total loan amounts you have borrowed to date.
• Bring complete addresses (including zip codes and phone numbers with area codes) for one relative and two personal references.
• Allow 30 minutes of your time to complete this requirement.

At the bottom of this page you will find a link to the exit counseling Web site. You must click on the link and then enter the following information.

• Type your name, social security number, date of birth, and e-mail address in the designated fields.
• Select Exit Counseling Option.
• Proceed by following the instructions in each section.

This is an online pre-exit counseling session to inform you about the loan repayment process and does not place you in repayment with your lender. You must complete a final exit interview when you graduate, withdraw or drop below six credits.

The TMCC financial aid office will automatically receive the results of your counseling session.
