New Federal regulations require institutions to report certain information about Title IV-eligible educational programs that lead to gainful employment in a recognized occupation (also known as GE Programs). While all of the educational programs at Truckee Meadows Community College are designed to lead to either employment or transfer, the Department of Education requires that we provide disclosure information on the specific programs listed below. We hope this information is helpful to you as you make your career and educational choices.

You may be interested in the cost of attendance at TMCC. You will find this under Financial Aid Cost of Attendance. Here you will find the costs associated with full or part-time enrollment at TMCC. To complete any of the GE Programs on-time, you would need to attend full-time.

Definition of Terms

SOC Code: Standard Occupational Code - This is the numeric code assigned to the occupation by the Department of Labor. This information is available at O*Net Online. Using O*Net you will be able to search by code to find more detailed information related to tasks, tools and technology, knowledge, skills, abilities, work activities, work context, job zone, education, interest, work styles, work values, related occupations, wages and employment and additional information.

Number Completed: This is the total number of students who received a certificate in the program in the most recent academic year.

Number Completed On-time: This is the number of students who completed the program in one or two semesters, depending on the program.

Placement Rates: This is the percentage of students who found employment. This rate is not yet defined by the Department of Education, hence the N/A or Not Available designation.

Median Title IV Loan Debt: This is the median loan debt for program graduates, including all Title IV loans while at this institution.

Private Debt: TMCC does not track the loans students borrow from private lenders, hence the N/A designation.

Institutional Finance Plans: While TMCC does offer payment plans each semester, we do not offer institutional finance plans requiring a promissory note, hence the N/A designation.
