The Financial Aid Office of Truckee Meadows Community College is made up of a highly qualified group of individuals who are committed to providing the best service possible. 	John Gottardy Director Oversees all aspects of the Financial Aid, Scholarships and Employment processes. Provides outreach services to middle schools, high schools and college fairs.
	Peter Miller Financial Aid Systems Coordinator Coordinates all technical aspects of department, including electronic communication with U.S. Department of Education, PC maintenance and set-up, software installations and upgrades, report generation. Acts as department liaison with NSHE Computing Center and TMCC computing staff. Maintains department Web page.
	Renee Davis Financial Aid Coordinator Coordinates the TMCC Foundation and Financial Aid Scholarship program. Processes appeals, verifications, initial reviewing of FAFSA's, provides loan counseling and counsels students with regard to Financial Aid. Provides outreach services to middle schools and high schools.
	Vacant Financial Aid Officer Counsels students with regard to Financial Aid. Processes appeals, verifications, initial reviewing of FAFSA's, provides loan counseling. Provides outreach services to middle schools, high schools and various on-campus programs.
	Vacant Student Employment Coordinator Responsible for all aspects of student employment at TMCC, including on- and Off-campus employment. Packages, monitors and disburses work study funds. Oversees student employment payroll processing. Maintains Off-campus Job Board and Off-campus employment agreements. Manages the Regents Award Program and Federal Work Study Literacy Program at TMCC.
	Debra Buringrud Student Loan Coordinator Manages student loan programs. Monitors, packages, processes and disburses student loan monies to students. Coordinates entrance and exit interview processes.
	Vacant Compliance Officer Maintains technical aspects of financial aid processing. Monitors all automated processes in financial aid computer system. Completes reports, including packaging, disbursement and state and federal reports.
	Vacant Student Services Specialist Recruitment and Financial Aid Responsible for providing a variety of general services to students and potential students of TMCC. Provides assistance and referral by being knowledgeable in academic programs, admissions, assessment, career services, disability services, financial aid and registration. Represents TMCC at recruitment events and presents information on admission to the college, obtaining financial assistance to attend college, and program offerings available at TMCC.
	Valerie Lambert Administrative Assistant IV Manages financial aid files. Enters, transmits and receives financial aid applications and uploads to financial aid computerized system. Tracks financial aid applications through to completion. Oversees reception desk and kiosks.
	Patricia Barnett Administrative Assistant III Provides support in the areas of Scholarships and Loans.
	Vacant Administrative Assistant III Provides support in the areas of Student Employment, Scholarships and Office Management.
	Vacant Administrative Assistant II Provides support in Financial Aid Data Entry and serves as receptionist.
	Amanda Yanez Peer Advisor Counsels students with regard to Financial Aid. Provides on-campus outreach services.
	Amber Kelley Peer Advisor Counsels students with regard to Financial Aid. Provides on-campus outreach services.
