 | Sharon Wurm Director Direct oversight of the Office of Financial Aid, Scholarships, Student Employment and Veterans Education Services. Administers student financial aid including federal, state and institutional funds. Interprets and applies federal laws and regulations; college policies and regulations; and state regulations relating to the delivery of student financial assistance. Develops and directs financial aid strategies within the framework of federal and state regulations that are consistent with the enrollment management objectives of the College and support student success and completion. Counsels students regarding financial aid. |
 | Peter Miller Program Director for Student Services Systems Coordinates all technical aspects of department, including electronic communication with U.S. Department of Education, PC maintenance and set-up, software installations and upgrades, report generation. Acts as department liaison with NSHE Computing Center and TMCC computing staff. Monitors electronic financial aid processes including packaging and disbursement. Serves as PeopleSoft functional expert for Division of Student Services. Counsels students regarding financial aid. |
 | Patricia Barnett Administrative Assistant III Performs verification, contacting students for clarification or more documentation, and monitoring FAFSA corrections. Provides support in the Loan area. Counsels students regarding financial aid. |
 | Roberta Bickford Program Officer for Veterans Education Services Serves as School Certifying Officer for Veterans Assistance (VA) educational benefits. Provides outreach and assistance to current and potential veteran students. Ensures that TMCC remains compliant with Federal regulations related to VA assistance. Counsels students regarding financial aid. |
 | Nick Boschert Financial Aid Coordinator for Compliance Monitors office compliance with institutional, state and federal regulations. Oversees verification and Return to Title IV Funds processes. Monitors incoming ISIRs and reviews as necessary. Counsels students regarding financial aid. |
 | Debra Buringrud Student Loan Coordinator Manages student loan programs, including the Federal Direct Stafford Loan, Federal/State Perkins Loan and Emergency Loan programs. Monitors, packages, processes and disburses student loan monies to students. Coordinates entrance and exit interview processes, financial literacy and default prevention for the institution. Processes Return to Title IV Funds, Ward of the Court and other dependency override documents. Counsels students regarding financial aid. |
 | Shari Cropper Administrative Assistant IV Provides support in the areas of Student Employment, Scholarships and Office Management. Processes incoming documents, student verifications and student payroll. Reconciles office operating budgets. Assists with the verification process. Counsels students regarding financial aid. |
 | Susan Elbe Financial Aid Coordinator for Special Populations Serves as liaison between Financial Aid and Academic Advisement. Main financial aid contact for Success First/Summer Bridge students, students with disabilities and students in the GRS cohort. Coordinates GEAR UP financial aid payment; processes Consortium Agreements and Income Reviews. Serves as financial aid representative at orientation/advisement workshops, counsels students with regard to financial aid. |
 | Valerie Lambert Program Officer for Student Employment Responsible for all aspects of work study, including federal, state and community service work study. Packages, monitors and disburses work study funds. Oversees student employment payroll processing. Manages the Regents Award Program and Federal Work Study Literacy Program at TMCC. Coordinates the financial aid appeal process and counsels students with regard to financial aid. |
 | Echo Lynch Program Officer for Outreach Coordinates the TMCC Foundation and Financial Aid Scholarship program, TMCC Americorp, WICHE gants and Tribal scholarships. Responsible for providing a variety of general services to students and potential students of TMCC. Represents TMCC at outreach events and presents information on admission to the college, obtaining financial assistance to attend college, and program offerings available at TMCC. Maintains department Web page and counsels students with regard to financial aid. |
