New Student Admission Process for FastTrack

FastTrack Admission Steps for New Students

Students new to TMCC or those students who have not attended TMCC in the last two years.

  1. Apply to the college.
  2. After you have completed the TMCC Application for Admission and received your admittance letter, you will be redirected back to FastTrack to complete the FastTrack Program Application. Note: You can not access the FastTrack application until you have applied to the college and received your TMCC network credentials to log in. You will need to be accepted into the FastTrack degree program before you will be allowed to register into any of the FastTrack classes.
  3. Apply for financial aid. Get help with your college expenses by completing the online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  4. Take the ACCUPLACER tests for English, math and reading.
  5. Send an email to fasttrack@tmcc.eduwith the following information:
    • Let us know that you have applied to the FastTrack online degree program and to set up an appointment with the FastTrack coordinator for advising.
    • Submit a copy of your resume (Resume Sample #1 | Resume Sample #2).
    • Submit a 500 word essay, double-spaced, responding to the following topic: "Why I feel an accelerated online learning program is right for me." Be sure to indicate your name and NSHE Student ID number (Sample Template).
  6. Once accepted into the program, students will need to attend a New Student Orientation.
  7. Finally, please do not hesitate to contact a FastTrack representative at any time with questions or concerns regarding the admission process.
