Criteria for the Part-time Faculty of the Month Award

The submission for the award should be a part-time faculty member who has demonstrated excellence in one or more of the following areas. The part-time faculty member:

• Models excellence in teaching as assessed by observation and/or student evaluations
• Shows exemplary commitment to student success as shown by interactions with students and/or other activities that contribute to student achievement
• Makes contributions to the academic community that exceed expectations
• Demonstrates consummate professionalism through interactions with colleagues

To nominate someone for this award, simply submit the name(s) of the nominees via emailto the chair of the Part-Time Issues Committee.
