TMCC's ECE program began in 1984 and was originally the Child Development program. In the mid-1990s, the name was changed to Early Childhood Education, following the trend in the field at that time. The ECE program meets the diverse needs of students and helps them achieve their educational goals.

  • Conveniently scheduled classes, including evenings and weekends.
  • Most courses are available in two formats-traditional classroom on the Dandini Campus and online.
  • Small class sizes.
  • High quality faculty with expertise and experience in early care and education.
  • Campus Child Care Center accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) for observation, field experience, and practicum.
  • A variety of degree, certificate, and course options.
