Comment Solicitation on Dental Assisting Program Accreditation Review

The Commission on Dental Accreditation requires that all dental education programs scheduled for review will solicit third-party comments from students, faculty, program administrators, Commission consultants, specialty and dental-related organizations, patients, and/or consumers.

All comments submitted must pertain only to the standards relative to the particular program being reviewed or policies and procedures used in the accreditation process. The comments will be screened by Commission staff for relevancy. For comments not relevant to these issues the individual will be notified that the comment is not related to accreditation and, where appropriate, referred to the appropriate agency.

In order to allow sufficient time for review and response all relevant comments must be received by the Commission no later than July 22, 2009.
