Culinary Arts

Welcome to the TMCC Culinary Arts program. The Culinary Arts program was established in 1979 and is accredited by the American Culinary Federation (ACF).

Graduates from this program are eligible to apply for the first level certification as a certified culinarian, according to ACF standards. We also encourage students to join the local branch of ACF, the High Sierra Chefs Association, which offers scholarships to students who are members.

Degree and Certificates

TMCC offers three opportunities for college degrees and career advancement in the Culinary Arts program:

An Associate's degree requires a two-year commitment if you attend full time.

A Certificate of Achievement requires a commitment of one year if you attend full time.

Many courses are offered so that students can work and attend TMCC part-time.
