Personnel Executive Committee

Purpose

The Personnel Executive Committee provides support in the implementation of TMCC's annual Resource Allocation Plan (RAP). Specifically, it reviews and approves the following:

  • Changes or additional grants/revenue backed positions/expenses
  • One-time state operating budget position request (temporary, emergent)
  • Replacement of budgeted positions (per TMCC Policy #1744)

About the Committee

The Personnel Executive Committee (formerly the President's Executive Committee) was established in Fall 2012 in order to provide timely response to changes to budgeted expenditures, particularly to positions. It also presides over implementation of new self-support or grant-related program expenditures.

The TMCC President presides over this committee. The Personnel Executive Committee acts as an advisory and recommending body to the TMCC President for issues related to changes and updates to the Resource Allocation Process during its implementation.

Meeting Times/Length of Meetings

The Personnel Executive Committee meets every other week during the year.
