Semester-Care Program for TMCC Students
Semester-Care
Semester-Care provides child care for children of TMCC students. Through the program, child care is available for a few hours each week during the semester while students are in class or studying.
Enrollment Process
Visit the child care center for Semester-Care registration information. It is helpful for TMCC students to have their class schedule established prior to registering children for the program. Child care openings fill on a first-come, first-served basis.
Avaliable Times
Monday through Friday
Infants: 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Todler: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. (11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. is lunch and naptime.)
Preschool: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. (11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. is lunch and naptime.)
Toddler and preschool: Purchase between two and four hours of care per day. Care is sold in blocks of time on a semester basis.
Ages
Infants: 3-18 months
Toddler: 18-36 months
Preschool: 3-5 years
Guidelines
Parents will be required to complete all Child Care Center registration paperwork and follow prescribed licensing regulations, including up-to-date immunizations and a well-child checkup prior to start date.
Parent/s are required to attend a 30-minute orientation before care begins.
A sick child will not be accepted for care. If a child becomes sick while in care, a parent or other authorized adult will be called to take the child from the center. (No refund) Late arrival for picking up a child on more than two occasions will result in loss of the child care spot. (No refund)
If the campus is closed no care will be provided. (No refund)
Space is limited. Plan now for next semester.
Cost
$25.00 registration fee. This fee is a one time charge if care is consecutive from semester to semester (excluding summer).
Blocks of time may be purchased for an entire semester or summer session.

No refunds for unused time. At no time will an outstanding balance be allowed. Care may be terminated by the center director for uncooperative or unsafe behavior of parent or child.
