Through a quality program, the TMCC Child Care Center will provide care and education based on best practice.
The center will be closed in observance of the following holidays:
Tuition is not reduced for holidays. Additionally, we are closed the first Friday in March, May and October for professional development.
The center reserves the right to terminate the enrollment of any child. Detailed information can be found in the center handbook.
If your child shows signs or symptoms of illness, he/she will be sent home. Please make sure you have alternative care for your child in case of an emergency.
Unless the weather is extremely severe, we will go outside for much needed fresh air and large motor play. If your child is too ill to go outside, he/she should be kept home.
The children have a rest period each day. Please provide a familiar cuddly blanket to help soothe a restless body.
Family involvement is a crucial link between the child's home and school. Our open-door policy encourages parents to be part of their child's care and education.
Families and staff work together to form a Center Assistance Group (CAG). This group functions as a sounding board for all center adults involved in creating a nurturing and educational environment for the children.
Parents provide the child's lunch. The center provides a morning and afternoon snack. Due to Health Department regulations, food provided by parents for special occasions such as birthdays must be store-purchased or prepared at the center.
The center is grateful for a federal subsidy that provides free milk to all of the children who are enrolled at the Child Care Center regardless of race, color or national origin (which is in compliance with federal regulation 7 CFR 215, FNS 113). Model Dairy, a local supplier, provides the milk.
Wait list priority goes to families currently enrolled in the center.
