Xerox Copier Program
The TMCC copier program was established in order to provide the entire college community with the newest digital technology as well as the capability to send print jobs directly from PCs to any copier on campus. There are currently 21 Xerox multi-function machines located around the Dandini Campus and the Redfield, Edison, Keystone and Meadowood sites. Each of these machines is set up to copy, print, fax and scan to email.
The office copier program is not meant to replace the services available through the TMCC copy center. The office copier's primary purpose is to provide a convenient opportunity to make a few quick copies (less than 100 copies per session or the amount that can be run in five minutes.)
Larger requests should, as always, be submitted to the copy center.
- Each employee must have a PIN to use the Xerox machines, copy center services and to access long distance services.
- PINs allow access to any machine in the program, all copy center services and long distance from any phone.
All consumable supplies, including staples and 8 ½" X 11" and 8 ½" X 14" white paper are included in the 3 cent recharge per copy cost of the program.
Please do not use the Xerox paper supplies in any office desktop printers.
White paper for office printers and larger/colored paper is available for purchase by departments from central services.
Paper charges will be incorporated into monthly Xerox billings and will be taken from your Xerox encumbrances.
A key operator has been designated for each Xerox location. A key operator list is posted at each machine. If you are experiencing a problem with a Xerox machine, please contact the key operator for the area.
Requesting a PIN
PINs are assigned by central services but must be pre-authorized by your department. Each PIN is unique and issued to an individual, not to a department or program. Faculty and staff may need more than one PIN. To obtain a PIN, submit a PIN Request Form by your departmental support employee or supervisor. A printed confirmation letter will be sent to you once the PIN(s) have been issued.
