School of Business & Entrepreneurship (SOBE)
International Business Cultures
Overview
TMCC is offering a business program in summer 2010 that will allow students to earn credit and learn about international business culture and practices while visiting some of Europe's most notable landmarks.
As part of this program, students will enroll in these two classes:
- International Business Cultures(IBUS 280, 3 credits) examines the impact on business practices by the culture in which you live and the culture in which you interact. Students must complete this course in summer session 1 with a satisfactory grade to travel on the field study trip in summer session 2.
- International Business Practices Field Study (IBUS 281, 3 credits) is a five-week field study that through travel and interaction with businesses and universities in the country of interest allows students to discover how business is practiced differently in different regions of the world.
